Video: Zamalek beats Future 2-0 in Egyptian League

Zamalek achieved an important victory over its host Future, with a score of 2-0, in the match that brought them together in the seventh round of the Egyptian League.

Despite Future's hot start by scoring a goal that was canceled out by video technology, Zamalek dominated the match completely.

In the 39th minute, the White Knight took the lead through Ahmed Sayed Zizou from a penalty kick, before Ibrahima Ndiaye scored the second goal in the last minute of the first half.

This victory for Zamalek comes after two consecutive defeats in the Egyptian League against Enppi and ZFC, which was the reason for the dismissal of coach Juan Carlos Osorio from his position.

Motamed Gamal took over the responsibility of coaching Zamalek after that, and succeeded in defeating Pyramids on penalties in the semi-finals of the Egypt Cup, then beat Abu Salim 1-0 in the African Confederation.

This is the third victory in a row for the temporary coach of Zamalek, bringing his team to 11 points in fifth place, only 3 points behind its rival and defending champion Al-Ahly, with a game less for the Red Giants.

As for Future, his score is frozen at 12 points in fourth place, while the top of the standings remains in the hands of Pyramids with 16 points.

It is noteworthy that Zamalek will face Sowar of Guinea in Cairo on December 3 in the Confederation Cup competitions, before facing Al-Ittihad of Alexandria on December 7 in the Egyptian League.
