The Best of the Club World Cup 2023 awards were distributed following the final match between Manchester City and Fluminense at the Radiant Jewel Stadium.
The English club succeeded in defeating its Brazilian counterpart 4-0, thus achieving the Club World Cup for the first time in its history.
The award for best player in the World Cup was won by Rodri, the Manchester City player, and in second place came his teammate Kyle Walker, while third place went to John Arias, the Fluminense player.
By achieving the best in the Club World Cup, Rodri became the third player to achieve it, in addition to achieving the Man of the Match award in the Champions League final, after Lionel Messi in 2011 and Gareth Bale in 2018.
As for the Fair Play Award, it went to Al-Ittihad, which beat Auckland City 3-0, then lost to Al-Ahly 3-1 in the quarter-finals.
The competition's top scorer award was shared by three players: Karim Benzema, Al-Ittihad striker, Ali Maaloul, Al-Ahly player, and Julian Alvarez, Manchester City striker, with two goals each.
