Bayern is happy with its loaned goalkeeper, but Neuer is destroying his future at the Allianz Arena

Alexander Nubel and Manuel Neuer, Bayern Munich goalkeepers

Bayern Munich officials were happy with how goalkeeper Alexander Nubel is doing on loan to Stuttgart this season, but it is unlikely that the goalkeeper will return to the Allianz Arena in the future due to Manuel Neuer.

Nubel joined Bayern Munich for free in the summer of 2020 after a great performance with Schalke that made everyone predict that he would be Neuer's successor in protecting the Bavarian club goal.

But after one year during which he did not get many opportunities to play, the Bayern management decided to loan Nubel to Monaco for two years, and this season he returned again to the team to be loaned again, but this time to Stuttgart.

Nubel succeeded in performing at very good levels this season with Stuttgart, where he kept clean sheets in 6 matches out of 13 games, and is classified as one of the best goalkeepers in the Bundesliga. He was also a strong candidate to return to the German national team during the current international break.

These distinguished levels provided by Nubel made Bayern’s management happy and reassured, especially since his experience with Monaco was not the best. The 27-year-old goalkeeper has now returned to show well the capabilities he possesses and that he is one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

Bayern Munich goalkeeping coach Michael Rechner has been in continuous contact with Nubel since his loan to Stuttgart, unlike things during the period of previous coach Toni Tapalovic, who did not communicate with the goalkeeper at all during his loan to Monaco.

Despite all these positive things, with Manuel Neuer at Bayern Munich, it is almost impossible for Nubel to return to the Bavarian club, and he will most likely be sold next summer.

Neuer will not allow any goalkeeper to compete with him for the starting position in Bayern Munich's goalkeeper, and Nubel will not accept being on the bench, so leaving is the best option for all parties.

Nubel's contract with Bayern Munich extends until the summer of 2025, so with his good levels with Stuttgart, the Bavarian club could make a good financial profit from his successor next summer.

It is noteworthy that Nubel's levels contributed to Stuttgart achieving its best start in the Bundesliga in years, as it occupies third place in the championship standings with 24 points, and it also reached the round of 16 of the German Cup.
