The German newspaper "Bild" reported that Harry Kane is making more money with Bayern Munich thanks to his goals, due to a secret clause in the contract of the two parties.
Kane joined the Bavarian club last summer from Tottenham Hotspur for €100 million and quickly made history in a Bayern shirt, becoming the fastest to score 17 goals in the Bundesliga after just 11 rounds.
Kane already earns a salary of 24 million euros a year, making him the highest salary in Germany and one of the highest contracts in Europe.
However, the 30-year-old could earn an additional €250,000 if he succeeds in achieving 40 scoring points, but the mechanism for calculating these points has not been revealed.
Meanwhile, three months into the new season, Kane has managed to score 28 scoring points, meaning he is very close to being rewarded if he continues at the same pace.
Kane has so far scored 21 goals for Bayern in all competitions, 17 in the Bundesliga and 4 in the Champions League, but has yet to win any title, being defeated in the Super Cup by Leipzig, and bidding farewell to the German Cup in the second round at the hands of Saarbrücken, a third-division club.
