Kane breaks records and Guirassy returns to score.. Bundesliga top scorers fight on fire

Harry Kane scored twice during Bayern Munich's 4-2 win over Heidenheim at the Allianz Arena on matchday 11 of the Bundesliga.

With this goal, the England star's tally in the Bundesliga this season has reached 17, meaning he surpassed in 11 rounds what the duo of the tournament's top scorers last year, Christopher Nkunku and Niklas Füllkrug, scored just 16 goals each.

Kane also became the first player in Bundesliga history to score 17 goals after 11 rounds, as well as reaching his 20th goal in all competitions in 16 games, his career-best goalscoring record.

But Prince Harry is not alone in contention for the title of top scorer in the Bundesliga, as the competition's top scorer until the last round, Serhou Guirassy, returned to scoring again for his team Stuttgart, during the Schwabens beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1.

Guirassy was the first to reach 14 goals in just 7 league games, then suffered an injury that kept him out of his team's last two league games, but he finally returned and converted a penalty to goalkeeper Gregor Koppel and with it his team got the three points.

The Guinean striker has a total of 15 goals, just two goals away from leaders Kane, but Guirassy has made just eight appearances, compared to 11 for the former Tottenham star.

The conflict between the duo is raging but will now subside for two weeks until the international break ends, after which Bayern Munich prepare for a seemingly easy clash against bottom of the table Köln, while Stuttgart face Eintracht Frankfurt at the latter's stadium.
