Nagelsmann: I don't regret coaching Germany, but I'm sad!

Nalgesmann, former coach of Bayern Munich

Julian Nagelsmann, coach of the German national team, confirmed that he does not regret taking over the responsibility of coaching the German national team, but at the same time he stressed his deep sadness at the decline in the results of the 2014 world champion in the recent period.

Germany suffered two defeats in the last international break, the first in Berlin with a score of 3-2 from Turkey, and the other at the hands of the Austrian national team with a score of 2-0.

This was the first time that Nagelsmann suffered defeat since he took over as coach of Germany last September, and it seemed clear that the German Germans were suffering and in need of hard work in order to return again to their old glories.

Despite the difficult task, Nagelsmann refuses to regret his decision to coach Germany. He said after the defeat by Austria on Tuesday, “No, I never regret taking on this task, but rather I enjoy it.”

The former Bayern Munich coach also added, "We have to do our best to get out of the current situation."

He continued, "I am sad, but I am not disappointed. The defeat is painful, and now we have to talk a little and work more on the field."

Nagelsmann changed the way the German national team played more than once over the course of 4 matches, and his most strange experience was when he relied on Kai Havertz in the left-back position.

The international break next March will be the last opportunity for Nagelsmann to adjust the performance of the German Germans before competing in Euro 2024 in Germany, which brings with it great pressure to go far in this competition.
