Snow falling on Bayern Munich stadium

Union Berlin announced the cancellation of its match with Bayern Munich, which was scheduled to be held on Saturday evening in the 13th round of the German League at the Allianz Arena.

As the Capital Club revealed, the match could not be held on Saturday evening due to bad weather conditions in Munich in light of a snow storm that covered the city in the past few hours.

The municipality of Munich decided that it was dangerous to hold the match in such an atmosphere, given the difficulty for fans to reach the stadium, in addition to the fact that this atmosphere represents a danger to the security of everyone, including the players.

The storm caused the cancellation of 320 flights out of 760 scheduled for today, and rail traffic in Bavaria also stopped, so it was logical for the Bundesliga to immediately approve the decision to cancel the match.

The new date for the match has not been determined, and it is most likely that the match will be played after the end of the first round, that is, at the end of this month of December.

Bayern Munich occupies second place in the German League standings with 32 points, two points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen, while Union Berlin occupies the bottom of the Bundesliga standings with 7 points.
